12月26日下午，國(guó)防部舉行例行記者會(huì)，國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人張曉剛大校答記者問(wèn)。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，日本防衛(wèi)大臣在沖繩縣會(huì)晤當(dāng)?shù)毓賳T時(shí)表示，駐沖繩的第一批約100名美海軍陸戰(zhàn)隊(duì)后勤人員已轉(zhuǎn)移到關(guān)島，美方此舉引發(fā)媒體關(guān)注猜測(cè)。請(qǐng)問(wèn)發(fā)言人有何評(píng)論？
Question: It’s reported that during the Japanese Defense Minister’s meeting with local officials from Okinawa Prefecture, he said the first batch of logistic personnel of US Marines stationed in Okinawa, approximately 100 members, have been transferred to Guam. The US act has triggered media attention and speculation. What’s your comment?
張曉剛：我們注意到有關(guān)報(bào)道。長(zhǎng)期以來(lái)，駐日美軍犯罪問(wèn)題頻發(fā)，引發(fā)當(dāng)?shù)孛癖姷膹?qiáng)烈不安和抗議。美軍撤到哪兒是他們自己的選擇，但我知道，美軍若真走了，沖繩民眾會(huì)得償所愿。
Zhang Xiaogang: We have noted relevant reports. For quite a long time, US Forces Japan (USFJ) has been accused of frequent criminal acts. Their miscoduct has triggered strong anxiety and protests among the local residents. Where to transfer its troops is a matter for the US military to decide. But we know if the US troops are really gone, the people of Okinawa will get what they hope for.
